Nadia Petkova

Nadia Petkova was appointed EBRD Managing Director for Impact and Partnerships in July 2024. In her role, she advises the President and senior management, presenting the views of the department on transition impact and the additionality of EBRD operations, and reporting on transition results measurement and transition impact.

In 2017, Ms Petkova was appointed Director, Regional Network, SME Finance and Development, with a decentralised team of more than 150 staff across the EBRD regions. During her tenure, she led multiple strategic initiatives, including the simplification of the Bank's approach to small deals, and approval and launch of the Supply Chain Financing programme.

Ms Petkova joined the EBRD in 2001 through the International Professionals Programme, before joining the Agribusiness team, based in London and Türkiye.

She graduated from the University for National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria.
