Jens Eriksson

Jens Eriksson, who joined the EBRD in March 2007, is Managing Director for Operations and Service Management. He took over this role in January 2020.

Mr Eriksson leads and manages a department of 135 staff split across 5 divisions: (i) Operations Treasury, including the Middle Office, Operations Cash Management and Control and Treasury Settlements; (ii) the Operations Administration Department, providing support and training to the Banking division in the administration of projects, as well as administering grants; (iii) Operations Banking, supporting the administration of the debt, equity, bond and trade finance portfolio; (iv) Operations Finance, ensuring compliance with best practice in carrying out accounting and financial management duties; and (v) the Procurement Department.

After joining the EBRD in March 2007, Mr Eriksson took over the responsibility for the Bank's Middle Office in 2014. He moved to the role of Director for Operations Treasury in 2016 and Director for Operations Banking and Operations Treasury in March 2019. Mr Eriksson was also appointed Acting Managing Director for Operations and Service Management from June 2018 to January 2019.

Mr Eriksson is a Swedish national and holds a Master's in Finance from Gothenburg University and the CFA Charter.
