Axel van Nederveen

Axel van Nederveen is Treasurer of the EBRD. 

He has overall responsibility for asset management of the Bank's treasury, liquidity management and funding operations, as well as the overall market risks associated with the Bank's lending operations. 

Mr van Nederveen joined the EBRD in May 1995 and held several roles within the Treasury Department before becoming Treasurer in April 2004. He previously held positions in government bond sales and trading at ABN AMRO in Amsterdam and Paribas in London.

Mr van Nederveen holds an MBA from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
