Renaud Tahon

Renaud Tahon, a French national, leads the Compliance function of IPAM. He is an experienced professional with a strong background in environmental and social sustainability.
He started his career in an environmental consultancy firm and has since dedicated his professional life to Environmental and Social Matters in several financial institutions. Particularly relevant to his role at IPAM, is his experience in development finance, having worked half of his career at the Inter-American Development Bank and the French Development Agency. He also held ESG leadership positions in both French Export Credit Agency and an Equator Principles commercial bank. His expertise includes environmental and social impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with international standards.
He is an Environmental Engineer from the Ecole Centrale Paris and holds an International Relations Master's degree from Sciences Po Paris. He is fluent in French, English and Spanish, and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.
