International Master in Public Procurement Management

Author: EBRD Procurement

For ten years, the EBRD via various donor funds have proactivity sought to improve the capacity of our clients responsible for public sector projects funded by the EBRD.

Through the International Master in Public Procurement Management (IMPPM), students are brought together from EBRD countries of operation supported by sponsorships, to learn best practices in varying aspects of procurement and project implementation.

The IMPPM is a full time, advanced, postgraduate Master Programme organised by the Department of Economics and Finance of Tor Vergata University in Rome, Italy. It is completely taught in English and is characterised by a strong interdisciplinary approach. The programme is twinned at Belgrade University, Faculty of Law, running as an executive master programme.

The programme brings together a host of experts from across the world to equip the students with a lifetime of skills not just in procurement but also, legal frameworks, compliance, economics, environments and social considerations.

The Master is not only an academic journey, it is an intensive human experience, an occasion to meet people from all over the world and study together, learning from each other and becoming friends, for life.

As of November 2022, 415 students have benefited from the programme and EBRD sponsorships.
