The EBRD must 'drive a green and resilient future'

Author: Jonathan Wells

'Our biggest challenge – and opportunity for collective action – is climate change,' the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, has told the EBRD's 2021 Annual Meeting.

In a pre-recorded speech Mr Sunak called on the Bank to 'harness its ingenuity to drive a green and resilient future across all its countries of operation'.

'I am confident that the institution has the people, skills and resources it needs to succeed' in this and the other challenges its countries face, he said.
